Importing Files into Your Projects

If you have Java files that are already saved onto disk, you can copy these files into your project by following these steps:

1. In the Gild Resource View, select the project or folder into which you would like to copy your files.
2. Right-click in the Gild Resource View.
3. You will be presented with a pop-up menu. Select "Import>Import Files into [selected project/folder name]…"
4. You will be presented with a file/open dialog. Use the dialog to navigate through your computer's file system. In the main file area, select the files that you wish to import. Multiple files can be selected by holding the "Ctrl" key while selecting files. Note: you can only select multiple files if those files are "siblings". Sibling files are those files which are contained in the same folder.
5. Click the "Open" button.
